Your Questions About Our Services Answered

We understand that attending a church service for the first time can bring up many questions. Here are some answers to help you feel more comfortable and prepared for your visit.

What should I wear to the service?

Come as you are! We welcome everyone. Our focus is on community and worship, not dress code.

You’re welcome to come in any clothes you feel comfortable in. Most men wear button-up shirts and ties, women typically wear dresses or skirts, and children usually dress up too.

What denomination are you?

We’re The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You likely have neighbors, friends, or even family that are members. And with 16 million of us in 30,000 congregations across 160 countries, there’s room for anyone who wants to love, learn, and serve with us.

Will there be activities for children?

Our Easter Sunday Service will be one hour long. Your children are invited to sit with you in the meeting. The meeting will be full of music and short messages. Feel free to bring snacks or quiet activities to keep them engaged if needed.

Can I attend if I'm not a member of the church?

Absolutely! We warmly welcome everyone, regardless of their faith background. Our service is open to all who wish to join.

How long does the service last?

Our Easter Sunday service typically lasts about one hour, filled with uplifting music, prayer, and a thought-provoking message. We typically hold a 1-hour class after the Worship Service, but on Easter Sunday these classes will not be held.

Will I have to participate?

On Easter Sunday, sit back and enjoy the service! During the service a sacrament try of bread and water will be passed around the congregation. You are welcome to partake of the sacrament (Communion) or pass the tray to the next person. You can learn more about our Sunday Services HERE.

What can I expect during the service?

Expect a welcoming environment with inspiring music, heartfelt prayers, and a message that resonates with everyday life.

Do I have to donate money at church?

No, attending our service is completely free. The church operates with a lay-led ministry. Nobody in the local churches are paid. We do not solicit donations or pass a plate. Contributions (tithes) are made privately.

Can we take photos in front of one of "The Living Christ" sets?

Of course! After church service ends at 11:00am you are welcome to take photos. Many people will be lined up to take a family photo in front of “The Living Christ” Tomb or Crosses. You are welcome to join in this new fun tradition.

If you did not attend our worship service and would like to take photos in front of the tomb or crosses, you are absolutely welcome to do that! We encourage you to come anytime before 10am or anytime after 11am if you would like to get a photo.
